Results:  OFT on weed management conducted during Kharif, 2015-16 at 10 different locations using variety RajendraSoniya  and result reviled that application of Metribuzin @0.7kg/ha+ one weeding at 60DAS found to be most effective recorded maximum yield ie 285q/ha.

1. Title of On farm Trial Management of Brown Spot disease of Rice caused by Helminthosporium oryzae.

3. Details of technologies selected for assessment/refinement F.P.—One spray of Carbendazim 50wp @ 1 kg/ha
T.O.-I- Seed treatment with Carbendazim50 wp @2gm/kg seed +one foliar spray of Propiconazole25% @ 1 ml/lit water
T.O.-II- One spray of Mancozeb @ 2gm/lit water

5. Production system and thematic area Rice-Wheat cropping system, IDM

7. Final recommendation for micro level situation T.O.1-Seed treatment with Carbendazim50 wp @2gm/kg seed +one foliar spray of Propiconazole25% @ 1 ml/lit water found to be most effective against the disease recorded minimum disease severity(18.11%) and maximum BC ratio i.e. 1.70
8. Constraints identified and feedback for research It is difficult to convince farmers about the feasibility of OFT however they are very much satisfied after conduction of the trial. Farmers were very much satisfied with the performance of the technology and convinced about the technology

Results: OFT conducted during kharif,2015 at eight different locations of East Champaran district using rice variety Prabhat in RBD. Routine agronomical practices were followed and result showed that minimum brown spot severity ie 18.11% and maximum grain yield ie 39.37 q/ha with B:C ratio 1.7  recorded in T.O.-I

3. Details of technologies selected for assessment/refinement F.PFarmers Practice: – One spray of Carbendazim 50wp @ 1.0 kg/ha
T.O: I- Seed treatment with Metalaxyl  @ 6 gm/kg seed + two foliar sprays of Mancozeb 75wp @ 2.0 gm/lit. water.
T.O: II- Seed treatment with Carbendazim 50 wp @ 2 gm/kg seed   + two foliar sprays of Ridomil MZ 72 wp @ 2.0 gm/lit water.
